Using that same process, I went over the whole piece, lightly and only applying enough paint to add color, not enough to coat of course.   Dry brushing isn’t very forgiving, in that, if you accidentally apply too much paint, you would basically have to sand that paint off and start over in that spot.  So, it’s best to have as little paint left on the brush as possible than to have a little too much.
This was such a quick easy thing to do, it only took me less than 30 minutes from start to finish – I’m happy with the results!
