This antique buffet table was a real mess when we got it. It had 2 broken legs that needed to be fully repaired. My husband was able to take care of that. There was also a weird smokey smell coming from it. I’m not sure if that was because of the age or what, but I primed the whole thing with a shellac BIN primer. That took care of the smell.

I painted it in Pittsburgh paint’s “Toasted Almond”, pearl sheen. I distressed it a little too and then after painting the original hardware, I put those back on. There were also, little leather emblems on the doors, so I put those back on.
